Shipping Updates 2022
This page is dedicated to providing customers with information related to possible shipping/supply chain delays during the 2022 holiday season.
We at MamaSuds understand how important it is to receive your order quickly, so we hope that what we share here will provide you with the necessary information you need to track your order and understand what is happening in our country this season.
We strongly encourage our customers to shop early + choose expedited shipping methods to ensure their holiday orders arrive when they need them. Below is some helpful information regarding how we're handling these issues at MamaSuds.
Production Time: Because we make our products in-house, our production time fluctuates throughout the year based on order volume. As you can imagine, the very large increase in online shopping has kept us busier than ever before (and we're so grateful!) but it also means that our production time is longer than it normally would be during a different time of year. We are working very hard to ship holiday orders within our standard production time of 5-10 business days.
Shipping Method/Shipping Time: The shipping method selected at checkout dictates the method that your order will be shipped, and also the speed of shipment (during normal times of year). This is separate from our production time, which is the time needed to hand make your order. We ship USPS Priority or UPS ground for most orders (a few very light products get shipping USPS First class). We cannot guarantee shipping times, nor can we replace orders that take longer than normal to ship. Unfortunately, we cannot control this, and once your package is shipped, USPS or UPS is responsible for final delivery (from the length of time it takes to the route the package takes on its way to you).
We do not have control of your package once it leaves the MamaSuds Soap Shop.
What can you do? One action that has proven helpful to customers in the past is signing up for email or text updates directly from the USPS.com tracking page. It might sound like voodoo, but signing up for these updates can sometimes "shake loose" the package and the system updates & starts showing more up to date tracking information.
Bottom Line: Shop early for gifts and shop for yourself BEFORE you actually need the product. You can also choose expedited shipping methods at checkout, and be sure to keep a close eye on your packages' tracking at USPS.com. If your MamaSuds package is lost or mis-delivered, be sure to file a claim with USPS or UPS so that we can get a replacement sent out to you ASAP.
We totally understand the frustration of slow delivery, lack of tracking updates, and having to wait longer than normal for holiday gifts to arrive.
