Pure Castile Dish Soap

Our beloved vegan liquid dish soap is made into a hard bar soap. 

This 8-ounce solid dish soap cuts through the grease and dirt so you can clean your dishes without worrying about what's left behind on those dishes.

Unscented and cruelty-free, the Solid Dish Soap can be used in other areas of the house (laundry stains, taking labels off jars, cleaning the stove, etc.).

Any place you'd use our liquid castile soap you can use the solid version as well. 

  • 8 ounces by weight when cut
  • Ingredients: Sodium Olivate (saponified olive oil)
  • 100% Vegan and Cruelty-free
  • Biodegradable and Septic-safe
  • Free of any harmful ingredients
  • Bamboo Pot Brush sold separately

To use: Pair with an eco-friendly brush or scrubby to apply to your dishes (we love sisal scrubbies!). Re-lather as needed.

**Be sure to use a slotted soap dish, this will make the soap last longer and not get soft.

Great so far

I've been searching for a solid dish soap for my family for quite some time. Others that I've tried have left a oily residue. I'm also sensitive to smells and chemicals. So far, this dish soap has worked well without the oily residue and hasn't caused irritation. We stocked up and hope that this continues to work well for us!

Effective solid dish soap - no residue!

I have tried many solid dish soap bars before but they all had the same issues - leaving an oily residue on hand-washed dishes (esp. on the Pyrex glass containers and their plastic lids). This is NOT an issue with the Mama Suds solid dish soap! It is a safe and scentless option for hand-washing dishes and it's been a safe option for my antique dishware and other "hand wash only" items. At $3.33/ounce, it is a bit pricey but for a vegan, safe, effective, plastic-free soap option... I'll pay it.

ONE CRITIQUE and the only reason a star is knocked off my review is because of that tin the bar comes in. It's annoying as it slides all over, has to be kept upside down with access to air flow under the container to drain, and its not the prettiest thing to sit on my counter... I would love to have the option to buy the soap without the tin! I understand that the bar is poured and set in this tin... But is there a way to pour this soap into a mold to set so it can be sold as a bar without the tin? That would be appreciated! I really don't have a second use for a small tin and I am not confident that the tin is recycled at the curbside pick-up in my area...
