Ditch the All Purpose Cleaner with BLEACH

"Avoid using chlorine bleach for household cleaning or laundry. The chlorine in your automatic dishwashing detergent mixes with the food and steam to create a gas. When the dishwasher is opened and this gas comes out, it's highly toxic. The same is true even in laundry machines but at a lower level."¹

According to the National Poison Control Center website², 43,518 calls concerning bleach were reported in 2012. Using all purpose cleaners that contain bleach, or sodium hypochlorite are almost always dispensed in a spray bottle. Sodium hypochlorite poses many health risks including asthma and respiratory concerns, skin allergies and irritation, cancer, and environmental risks.³
